1. About Hoi An Ancient Town

Located on the banks of the poetic Thu Bon River, in central Quang Nam province - Vietnam, Hoi An ancient town is an Eastern oriental classic captivation.  With the strategic location on the banks of the great river, with one seaside border (East), it used to be one of the major trading centers in Southeast Asia during the 16th century due to the early western trader occupying period.

Hoi An, an exceptionally well-preserved example of a traditional Asian trading port, is an outstanding material manifestation of the fusion of cultures over time in an international maritime commercial centre.

Gone through centuries , with vicissitudes of prosperity and impairment, the town still keep its ancient beauty.

Legend has it that Hoi An was the Cham Port of the Champa people. When the Champa Kingdom was occupied by The Dai Viet Kingdom, the Champa people had to leave Cham Port for the south. Because of leaving in a hurry, the Champa people left a very precious treasure.

A team of archaeologists who come here to research discovered signs and indications which lead to the treasure of the Champa.
